Spy Kids 4

When the first Spy Kids movie came out, I loved it. It was one of my favourite movies. I thought the world of it. I was ten. Now the fourth and hopefully last installment is coming to theaters in August. With dizzying effects and corny spy gear, this movie aims to be Mission Impossible for eight year olds. Will it achieve that? Probably not. The past films were mediocre at best and this one seems to be sopping up whatever revenue might be left from the series. The acting looks bad (sorry Jessica Alba!) but is cool to see the original spy kids played by Alexa Vega and Daryl Sabara have cameos in the movie instead of being completely written out.

Prediction: Kids will like it, but it might be one to save for when it comes out on DVD
